PRIMING CONCENTRATE • Used for priming absorbable mineral substrates before smoothing and levelling the substrate, before gluing ceramic tiles, etc. • Used for priming surfaces for painting in accordance with the paint manufacturer’s instructions. • Reinforces the substrate and equalises its absorption capacity, improves the bonding uniformity of used materials, increases their adhesion to the substrate as well as their strength • Prevents harmful chemical reactions between gypsum and cement • Can be used inside and outside buildings and is non-toxic and non-flammable. • After drying, the product creates a transparent, slightly glossy coating, resistant to water and alkaline agents. The coating does not inhibit the exchange of water vapour and gases with the environment. • Water-soluble acrylic resin concentrate with low molecular weight used to prepare deep penetrating primer.
UNIVERSAL PRIMING EMULSION • CEKOL DL-50 is a solvent-free emulsion for priming absorbent mineral substrates during any renovation and finishing works. • It is also used to prepare the surface before painting, in accordance with the paint manufacturer’s recommendations. • It can be used inside and outside buildings. • The emulsion strengthens the substrates and increases their durability. • It improves the adhesion of finishing materials to the substrate. • CEKOL DL-50 is non-toxic and non-flammable. • When dry, it forms a transparent coating which does not inhibit the exchange of water vapour and gases with the environment and which is resistant to water and alkaline agents.
DEEP PENETRATING PRIMER • CEKOL DL-80 is a water-soluble, deep penetrating emulsion which does not contain solvents and is used for priming absorbable, mineral surfaces before applying fillers, self-levelling floors or sticking on ceramic tiles. • It may be applied inside buildings and outside. • CEKOL DL-80 strengthens surfaces, increases uniform binding of finishing materials used, at the same time increasing their adherence and durability. • It inhibits detrimental chemical reactions between gypsum and cement. • CEKOL DL-80 is a non-toxic and non-flammable emulsion. • After drying, a transparent and slightly glossy coat is formed which is water and alkaline agents resistant at the same time allowing for water and gases to vapour.
PRIMING PREPARATION KONTAKT • CEKOL GS-83 Kontakt is a product used for priming smooth surfaces, ceilings and prefabricated elements made from smoothly planked concrete or reinforced concrete elements. • It reinforces the substrate, improves the bonding uniformity and increases the adhesion of plasters, putties and mortars to difficult surfaces. • It can be used inside and outside buildings. • After drying, the product creates a transparent rough coating resistant to water and alkaline agents. The coating does not inhibit the exchange of water vapour and gases with the environment. • It is non-toxic and non-flammable.
WHITE ADHESIVE FOR TILES AND STONE • CEKOL C-14 is used for tilling marble, granite, stone and ceramic tiles to mineral substrates. • The product is an elastic, frost and water resistant adhesive for indoor and outdoor use. • It is characterised by good adhesion and high dripping resistance. • Recommended for fixing tiles to standard and heated surfaces. • It is a top quality dry compound of white cement, white mineral fillers and modifiers. APPLICATION PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE Using a spatula, remove the remains of emulsion and oil paints, and loose grains of sand. The substrate should be clean, tight and free of grease. PRIMING Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with a deep penetrating primer CEKOL DL-80. PREPARATION OF THE MORTAR In order to prepare the adhesive, pour 1 kg of powder to 0.2-0.25 l of water (5 to 6.25 litres per 25 kg bag) and mix thoroughly. Then wait approx. 3 minutes and mix it thoroughly again. APPLICATION OF THE ADHESIVE Apply the adhesive to the prepared substrate using a toothed trowel in a layer of 3 to 5 mm. Capacity per 1 m2 – a trowel with 6 mm teeth: approx. 3 kg. Tile correction time: 10 min. Pot life of the adhesive: approx. 3 hours Setting time for walking and pointing: about 24 hours at 18°C. In the case of heated surfaces, switch the heating off before glueing the tiles. The heating may be switched back on no sooner than after at least 7 days. In the case of gluing outside and to improve the adhesion of highly absorbent and stoneware tiles, CEKOL C-14 should be applied by a continuous layer on both the substrate and the underside of the tiles. Temperature of application and substrate +5°C ÷ +25°C.
HIGHLY ELASTIC TILE ADHESIVE • CEKOL C-11 is used for fixing stoneware, ceramic, stone and glass tiles as well as mineral wool to concrete, bricks, gas concrete, ceramsite blocks, gypsum blocks and panels, stable wood substrates and steel structures. • CEKOL C-11 is suitable for fixing new glaze tiles on the old ones without the necessity of chipping them off. • The adhesive may also be used for warmed-up surfaces, surface smoothing and patching. • CEKOL C-11 is a highly elastic, frost and water resistant adhesive for indoor and outdoor use.
